If you are unfamiliar with or simply want more information on Usborne and Kane Miller books you can read the following helpful information. Always feel free to contact me. I would be more than happy to help you find the perfect books for your family!
Many of the books pictured below are on our bookshelves at home. All of my older children read through the World Wars book for school and use the Encyclopedia of the Ancient World, along with many of the other encyclopedias available for their history lessons. We also use the art history books and I start my little ones using the First Thousand Words sticker book. Having actual books handy is important to me because I don’t want the kids relying on websites only.
The baby and toddler books are the cutest books ever! All of the “That’s not my…” books have been favorites for my little ones. They read them again and again. Each page has a touchy-feely element to it and describes the material. For example the page might say, “That’s not my bear his paws are too rough.” and the paw on the bear is rough. You continue through the book until you find the last bear which is “my bear”–the books are adorable!
We own many of the non-fiction books and they have been great for the kids to learn about all sorts of things. The kids love them and so do I!
